Initial Franchise Fee

In business, we all face risks.  As a franchisor, we take a risk in who we select as a franchisee.  There is a substantial investment of time and effort that goes into selecting and starting a new franchisee.  Our initial Franchise Fee is $27,500, 50% of which can be financed in house upon qualifying.  Our qualification criteria includes your financial health, aptitude and attitude, entrepreneurial qualities and business experience.

Royalty Fee

Living Leather and Vinyl has a flat fee of $150 per week.  In most cases this equates to one or two small repairs per week. Based upon following our marketing plan togther with good work ethics, a typical franchisee will do and average of 4 jobs per day.   Compared to a percentage of revenue, the flat fee does away with the need for expensive proprietary software and  feeling that “Big Brother” is always watching.  Let’s face it, you’re investing in a franchise to start your own business, the less you’re treated like an employee the better.

National Marketing Fee

Living Leather and Vinyl does not charge a flat national marketing fee. Most other franchises charge a full fixed 1-2% or more of gross sales for national marketing.  At Living Leather and Vinyl, we think our Franchisees should be the ones who decide where and when they spend their marketing dollars. Of course, if our franchisees find that they need regional or national marketing, we will happily coordinate it.

Regular Workshops

Every month we host a Workshop for all of our owners. These workshops are used to gather all owners together and utilize the synergy of Living Leather and Vinyl. The workshops are conducted via internet and/or telephone and cover all aspects of running your Living Leather and Vinyl business, from marketing to new tools, supplies and ideas.

Transfer fee

Read any book on business and you’ll find counsel on having a clear exit strategy.  Many franchisors try and hold their franchisees “hostage” to staying in business by imposing a financial barrier if and when they decide to sell.
